Toni Gibson began performing when she was just 7 years old and made her first recording in a professional studio at age 12.
She was part of a group called the Starlight Kids at the ages of 9-11. The starlight kids was a group of 5 pop performers that travelled around the north island performing in numerous shows and competitions.
Toni won the Coastlands Top 20 competion at age 11 with prizes including $10,000 production and distribution of her first EP CD and radio air time.
Songs included on this CD were 'The Heart That Matters Most' from Charlotte Church's CD, Prelude- The best of Charlotte Church.
The classic Simmon and Garfunkel hit 'Bridge of Troubled Water' and the New Zealand National Anthem 'God of Nations'.
Toni produced another EP CD at the age of 14. Songs included were
'Angel' by Sarah Mclachlan and
Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber's 'Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again' from the Phantom of the Opera.
Toni performed and was interviewed on TV 1's Goodmorning show at the age of 14.
She won the Kingdom of Music radio competition which also consisted of some radio air time.
Throughout college years Toni performed in the Paraparaumu College Music Roadshow.
The Music Roadshow is a high quality variety show with college performers, Orchestra and backstage crew that travel around the whole of the North Island performing at numerous clubs and theatres.
She has been a winner and place getter of numerous competitions.
In 2008 Toni performed as the character Johanna in the high quality Leven production of 'Sweeney Todd'.
Toni produced her 3rd EP at the age of 17. Songs included feature on this website, they are
'Wild Horses' by the Rolling Stones and
'A Bit of Earth' from the musical 'Secret Garden'.
Toni has performed in numerous charity and variety concerts.
In 2012 Toni performed her first 'very own' concert at the Expressions Theatre in Upper Hutt
Toni performed with the NZ POPS Orchestra at the Auckland Town Hall (2012)
Later that year she performed in Christmas in the Park in Christchurch

Toni's debut Album 'Echo in my Soul' was released in New Zealand in May of this year.

This was followed by a second concert in October at Southward Theatre in paraparaumu, accomapanied by members of the NZSO.
Toni was cast and played the role of "Christine" in the NZ NP production of "The Phantom of the Opera" (July 2014).
